The die-casting department consists of nine fully automated working cells managed by a dedicated computer system that records, in real time, the data relating to each individual cycle.

Each cell is equipped with a cold-chamber press with a closure force ranging from 300 to 1150 tons, a melting and holding furnace powerwed by natural gas, an automatic molten metal loader, a vertical lubrificator, and an anthropomorphic robot for handling the casting parts.

Seven of the nine work cells are also equipped with a hydraulic press with automatic ejection, allowing the trimming of auxiliary parts from the freshly cast components.

Since 2023, the major innovation in our production cycle has been the installation of 2 new centralized melting furnaces, with a capacity of 3,000 kg of aluminum and a production capacity of 1,500 kg/h. The alloys used in these new furnaces are EN AB 46100 and EN AB 47100.

The die-casting department is the only branch of the company that operates on a continuous cycle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
