PRESSO FONDERIE considers the protection of workers’ health and safety, compliance with regulations, the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases, employee involvement, and the continuous improvement of company performance as the fundamental elements of its strategy.
Management is committed to enhancing safety performances by preventing accidents and occupational illnesses through coordinated management of production activities and constant monitoring of work related safety processes and procedures.
PRESSO FONDERIE ensures the planning and ongoing implementation of employee engagement, training, and professional development activities, believing that fostering a safety culture among staff is essential in achieving company objectives.
PRESSO FONDERIE, in accordance with Article 17 of Legislative Decree 81/2008, has prepared and continuously updates the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) to ensure the health and safety of its employees.
The risk assessment covers all job roles within the company and aims to:
- Identify hazardous situations
- Recognize exposed personnel
- Evaluate risks with acceptability judgments
- Implement preventive measures to eliminate risks
- Implement protective measures to reduce residual risks
The process involves all company roles: the employer, the RSPP (Health and Safety Manager), the competent physician, the RLS (Workers’ Safety Representative), and employees, to ensure effectiveness and full participation.
In February 2019, Company Management decided to make our workplace cardioprotected.
Following the installation of a semi-automatic defibrillator (AED), 23 employees participated in a training course on AED use, conducted by the Misericordia of Colle Val d’Elsa.
The AED has been reported to the 118 emergency medical service and registered in the DAE DOVE application.
