The shot blasting department consists of 5 machines, differing in size and operation, but all uniquely designed for the automatic shot blasting of die-cast parts:

• 2 CWB wire mesh belt shot blasting machines
• 2 tumblast shot blasting machines
• 1 hook-type shot blasting machine

The shot blasting process works through the use of steel shot in various sizes, depending on the desired finish on the parts. Smaller-diameter shot, measuring just a few microns, is used for lighter blasting, while larger-diameter shot is used for deeper treatments.
